The entire community is invited to
Walk the Bridge
Held Saturday July 28th at 10:00 AM
Vincent Thomas Bridge

The parade was to celebrate the 100th birthday of Harry Bridges (1901-1990). Walking from Terminal Island to San Pedro over the Vincent Thomas Bridge, delegates from over 20 countries joined longshore and national labor leaders along with the community in the walk over the bridge. Parking was off Ferry Street on Terminal Island or under the bridge in San Pedro.  Shuttle service was provided.

And a further celebration! Immediately following the parade there was a celebration at the World Cruise Center in San Pedro featuring free hot dogs, cake and entertainment.  There was also tee shirts, and arts & crafts for sale.
